Brian started biking at age 4 and competing at age 11. He competed as category 2 road cyclist and at the sport level in mountainbiking. In his early years he was a Boy Scout and after high school, entered the military where he bacame an expert in orienteering, repelling, wilderness survival as well as being a Paramedic.

Charity is a large part of Brian's life and he has received many awards for his leadership of charitable organizations and event organizing. In addition, Brian is also an Lance Armstrong Foundation Advocate.

Brian's diverse background makes him a strong leader and excellent choice for all the variety of needs in adventure racing.
